Germantown Academy Inducts 26 Seniors into National Mathematics Honor Society

Germantown Academy is proud to recognize 26 seniors who were inducted into the GA chapter of Mu Alpha Theta, the national mathematics honor society, during a special luncheon on Thursday, June 6, 2024 in the Upper School.

The honorees included: Anna Amann '24, Ajeet Bagga '24, Joshua Bouchard '24, AJ DiFranco '24, Will Irons '24, Carmela Jenckes '24, Ansh Kakadia '24, Samantha Kostacos '24, Olivia Krey '24, Elaine Li '24, Richard Liao '24, Isabelle Lieu '24, Alan Liu, Caitlin Luviano '24, Emma Merrill '24, Nich O'Hara '24, Lucas Philip '24, Elizabeth Scheid '24, Cole Snell '24, Danika Staples '24, Kayla Sweeney '24, Ryan Szczepkowski '24, Aiden Trabosh '24, Andrei Vava '24, Angie Wang '24, and Andrew Zhou '24

To be eligible for Mu Alpha Theta, students must be seniors, must meet grade requirements for their honors level mathematics courses as well as an overall GPA requirement, and may not have earned any honors strikes within 12 months of induction. It is an honor to be selected for membership in this organization, which has over 2,100 chapters across the United States and in many foreign countries.
